Foot odor is that condition where one experiences smelly foot and it can be quite embarrassing.
When our feet sweats but does not get evaporated, the bacteria on our legs then feeds and grow off the the sweat due to socks and shoes we wear that prevents the sweats from drying up.

You can also add to warm water and then soak your legs in it for 10 to 15 minutes.
2. Vinegar For Foot Odor
Another effective home remedy for foot odor is vinegar. The benefit of vinegar for foot odor is derived from its ability to create an acidic environment in which no bacteria can live or survive.
Mix 1/2 cup of vinegar with like 5 to 8 cups of water ( hot water). Then soak your feet in side of it for not more than 20 mins.
Remember to wash your feet with soap to get rid of the vinegars smell.
3. Borax For Foot Odor
Borax as a disinfectant has the ability to destroy those bacteria that causes odors, thus when Borax and vinegar are mixed and used as a spray for inside the shoes that wears the feet, bacteria causing the odor can be eliminated.
Or simply just spread Borax powder in your shoes before putting it on.
4. Ginger Root For Foot Odor
Ginger root is effective against bacteria and that’s where it comes in.
The way to go on this one is to put the puree made of ginger into a hot cup of water for not more than 15 min.
Strain it and use the liquid solution as a foot massager for a period of two weeks.
5. Sugar Scrub For Foot Odor
Sugar scrub helps with the removing of dead skin on the body as well as calluses which together promotes foot odor.
Sugar scrub prevents calluses from growing and consequently prevents foot odor.
Mix the following.
* isopropyl alcohol [above 91%]
Mix the three, to make a thick consistency. The isopropyl alcohol should be 1 part to 5 part of water.

6. Epsom Salt For Foot Odor
Mix 2 table spoon of Epsom Salt with a half a bucket of warm water.
Soak you foot in it for not more than 10 mins depending on your condition.
Epsom Salt comes with the ability to fight off microbial infection.
7. Alum For Foot Odor
The astringent and antiseptic property of alum gives it a spot on our lists
To get its benefit as a remedy for foot odor, put some alum powder in a cup of warm water.
Wash your feet with the solution, after which you are to towel dry your foot. At this point you can then sprinkle more alum powder on them.
8. Lavender Oil For foot odor
Another home remedy for foot odor is lavender oil which, due to its good smell and antifungal properties is an effective treatment for foot odor.
Just put some drops of the oil in warm water and for 10 to 20 mins just soak that smelly feet. Twice a day should be enough.
9. Sage For Foot Odor
Sage is also good for getting rid of foot odor. A benefit that can be all yours just by drinking Sage tea.
Or sprinkle some dried sage on your socks and in your shoes and also you can soak your foot in sage tea.
There you have it. Generally it is good to make use of this home remedies at night when you no longer have need to wear shoes.
